Fantastic weather for our sculpting exercises today! It looked like rain was going to hit any minute, but instead, the warm front kept us comfortable.

I’ve been playing around with therapy bands for a few months so it was exciting to incorporate it in a group workout!

Inspiration

“Never wait for a perfect moment, just take a moment and make it perfect.”

This is a twist on “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.”

But, really, it’s so true. I mean, there are some days where life truly does seem to suck. You know one of those days where your alarm doesn’t go off, you get in a fender bender on the way to work, you find out an impossible work load got added at your job, you forgot to pack your workout clothes, then you get home to find out the dog pooped in the house…oh…and while looking in the refrigerator, we’re out of milk.

Granted, it could be worse. But that example is not an every day example.

If we plan on our days always being a trying day, then it will be – up here (in our head).

5% of how you feel comes from what’s actually happening to you. But 95% of how you feel comes from what you expect and make of it.

Another beautiful thing happened tonight with our impromptu prayer circle. I thank God for the opportunity of FiA because we get to come together for the power of prayer with our friends and for our friends.
