11’s and Chasing The Moon

The Thang: We did an 11s style workout. We started at the pavilion and did 1 bicycle. Then we ran to the end of the bathrooms and did 10 burpees. The back and 2 bicycles and then 9 burpees, etc.

When we finished the bicycles and burpees we went to the stairs and did one inverted pull up at the top and 10 side shuffles at the bottom of the stairs. Half way through we swapped the side shuffles for good mornings. Bonus: when we ran further down the path we got to see the beautiful full moon!!

Stretch/Inspiration: Don’t focus so much on the future that you miss out on what is right in front of you, even when it is a challenge. For me, it means instead of wishing my kids didn’t need so much attention looking at the opportunities to disciple them and help them grow at this phase of life. I was trying to get on to the next thing instead of noticing that opportunity in front of me. Not saying not to have future goals, but don’t let that get in the way of what is in front of you now.
